Mr. Johan Bygge, CFO Investor AB, speaks at a CBN Meeting Mr. Johan Bygge, will speak about; Value creation through an ambidextrous organisation - How to downsize a company and in the same time create value and a position for growth. Johan Bygge joined Investor AB in 2007 and has been a member of the Management Group since then. Investor is the largest industrial holding company in the Nordic region. Investor is a leading shareholder in several multinational companies, such as AstraZeneca, Ericsson, and SEB. Investor also conducts private equity activities in North America, Europe and Asia. Before Investor, Mr. Bygge spent many years at Electrolux. He joined Electrolux in 1987 as a Corporate Controller, which developed into the CFO position. He became part of the Group Management team in 1997. In 2001, Johan Bygge got the position as CEO for Consumer Outdoor products within Electrolux. He moved on and headed up Electrolux appliances for Asia Pacific from 2003 and in 2004 also added Europe. During this time Mr. Bygge managed and was part of many acquisitions and divestments. He also served as a trouble shooter in countries where the Electrolux Group had experienced challenges. Moving manufacturing from high to low cost countries and consolidating sales under the brand Electrolux formed an important part of his agenda. |
