In the current business environment, risk management has become the predominant business issue for every organization. Companies are focusing intensively on their exposure, control and governance. It has never before been more important to have a well organized process for corporate governance. Good corporate governance increase confidence in the company in the capital market and among the general public, thereby creating better conditions for attracting risk capital. Investors have increased their expectations of additional communication around risk. Corporate leaders have to demonstrate their decisions, taking into account the financial performance as well as risks. Companies are looking for ways to address these issues, not just from a mitigation and compliance perspective but more significantly to use risk management to add value to business performance. Therefore, business risks should be managed, and business processes should be implemented according to best practices. It is widely recognized that effective risk control is a major element in the framework of good corporate governance.
